good question...what is letter of intent?

I have been asked this question many times and it is a very good question…
What is The National Letter of Intent…?

Under NCAA Guidelines The National Letter of Intent (NLI) is a binding agreement between a prospective student athlete and an institution in which the institution agrees to provide a prospective student athlete who is admitted to the institution and is eligible for financial aid under NCAA rules athletics aid for one academic year in exchange for the prospective student-athlete’s agreement to attend the institution for one academic year.

My advise for any young female or male high school student athlete who desires to play college sports to go to the NCAA Link and read everything, Parents and students please read this information so there are no surprises or disappointments. Whether you use a Recruiting service or not, this is what will actually get you into college as a prospective student athlete, Don’t try to skip any steps…
